Taking a journey through life requires a whole lot of courage, especially when you embark on the journey of publishing your own book. When I started writing, I originally had my doubts; however, “Keeper of the Souls, series: A Scattering of Crows, is a story that had to be told.
I dug deep to find the courage to write. I knew that it was somewhere inside of me. I just had to find it. I had to put pen to paper and begin. That was really hard, since I had never written before, and, I had a very big vision.
I found it excruciating at times as doubts lingered about my abilities. But, I was determined, and kept pushing past my fear. So, one way to get past my fears . . . I started writing . . . three pages every day, no matter what, or the topic. I simply wrote.
I imagined I would tell the story, and work with a ghostwriter. I found many people were eager to help, but inside, it didn’t feel right. I knew I had to do this on my own.
After a while, I became more comfortable with writing, and I found myself enjoying the process, as the characters I envisioned for so long came to life, and the words started to take shape. I slowly began telling my story. The more I wrote, the easier it became. I couldn’t believe it! I was becoming a writer. An exciting new world of adventure and passion began. With a flick of my pen and twist of my words, I could make magic happen.
Beneath each word of my newest book is a vision of a world where reality meets the spirituality of Native Americans and nature. “Keeper of the Souls, series: A Scattering of Crows,” is a labor of love and I hope that you enjoy the tale.
